1) The plant this week got a lot bigger and is now up to six inches tall. The whole plant has grown and is one of the biggest in the garden.
2) The plant takes in water in it helps the plant grow and get taller. Also the roots soak up water and then gets evaporated by the sun.
3) Our plant takes in carbon to help it grow. This past week the plant has grown more because of the carbon cycle. It uses photosynthesis and takes in carbon from the atmosphere to make sugars.
4) The plant takes in nitrogen to grow and live, this week it has shown that. It participates in the nitrogen cycle because the bacteria found in soil converts organic forms of nitrogen to inorganic forms that the plants can use.
